Sunday, November 2nd

The boys and I fished at Rock Creek today.  Caught quite a few Perch, Bluegill, Crappie, along with a couple small Largemouth Bass.  We were using small jigs on ultralight poles.  The water clarity is unreal!  Around 10 feet or so.  We did see some large cats swim by.

It was a sunny day with a cool breeze out of the north.  Temps in high 50's.  I found some Rainbow trout at the south end using a small Panther Martin spinner.  Caught 10 of them along with a few Bluegill, and a Perch.  Just fished a couple hours then went for a mountain bike ride.

Took the boys fishing this afternoon and met a couple friends from church there.  We fished from the rock jetties and caught quite a few Rainbow Trout, Bluegill, and a couple Largemouth Bass.   One bass was 12 inches.  We used Panther Martin Lures and a fly.  Beautiful day!  Mid 60's with little or no breeze.

Took the kids and a friend to a small private pond outside of town. Little bit of a breeze out of the south.  Temps in the 50's today.  Sunny.  We tried the Panther Martins again and got one small bass.  I tried a large White skirted Spinner bait along the bottom real slow.  Got a nice 20 inch Master Angler Largemouth.  It was estimated at a little more than 4 pounds.  We fished about 45 minutes.
