Saturday, August 1st, 2008
Fished at Rock Creek this morning. Got quite a few smaller bass in the 10 inch range and one at 15 inches.
Caught the 15 incher on a Buzzbait and the others on a smaller spinnerbait before it got hot. Water is really clearing
up. Wind out of the south at 20 mph. Also, caught a nice Rock Bass and a few Bluegill.
Saturday-Sunday August 2nd and 3rd 2008
Had two clients (Jason and Adam) rent the kayaks for the weekend. This was probably the hottest weekend of the
year as temps topped 110 degrees on Saturday! Sunday was no different with a 108 temperature. We had brisk south
winds as well. The fishing was pretty good in the AM and PM. They got some nice bass and panfish.
