Fished at Rock Creek today. Snow melting good today. 57 degrees and sunny with slight breeze from SW.
Only about 3 acres of open water at north end. Water was very cloudy. This is unusual at this lake but there has
been a lot of runoff from the shoreline. Fished about 2 hours. There were a few ice-fishermen at south end. There
is at least 10 inches of ice there yet. Caught 2 hefty Rainbow trout, 3 Perch, and 1 large Bluegill using a small 1/64 oz.
Yellow Grub with a minnow jig head. Tried other lures with no success. Road around lake is very muddy and you
will need 4-wheel drive to get through. Beautiful day!
