Fished at Rock Creek in early evening. Temp was 84 degrees today. Very nice day! Fished until dark.
Found some Crappie and caught a dozen or so with a few in the 10 inch range. Also, a few bluegill and Red Ear using a small
jig and a Secret Lure.

Caught 48 total fish at Rock Creek including 4 Rainbow Trout, about a dozen Crappie in the 9-10 inch range and several
Bluegill, RedEar and Perch. The Perch were mostly in the 9-10 inch range. This was a nice day with breeze out
of the south and then diminishing which gave me some very glassy water. I used a 1/64 oz. jig with a yellow and black
twister tail. Temps in the high 40's.

Paddled down the Republican River today at 1:30 PM. Temp was an unusual 75 degrees! Very sunny and hardly
a breeze from the east. The river was running great. Came across several Big Bucks including one 5 point.
The water was 1-3 feet deep in most places and just past a beaver dam ran about 7-8 foot deep. Paddled to golf course
about 4.5 miles in 1 hour and 40 minutes. Awesome Experience!

Took a client to Rock Creek. Craig is a master of building custom Bamboo fly rods. He used his newest
fly rod to catch many Bluegill, a few Perch, and some Rainbow trout. We caught a lot of Perch and Bluegill. I
got one Largemouth and a couple crappie as well. The water temp is 43 degrees and crystal clear. There was a little
breeze from the south both days but mostly glassy water and a little sunshine. The day temp was 50-57 degrees.
We were the only fishermen on the lake. Very serene! If you need a custom fly rod made just let me know and we
can hook you up with Craig.
