Fished at Rock Creek in afternoon.  About 70 degrees with wind from South at 15-20 mph.  Wind died down near sundown.  Caught 71 fish in about 3 hours.  Found a motherlode of crappie with one at 9 inches.  Caught several Perch, Largemouth, Bluegill, Rock Bass, Trout, Red Ear, and Bluegill hybrids.  Used small twister grub on a 1/32 oz. jig head and a plastic lizard.  Caught a couple nice Largemouth over 12 inches.  Water clarity on North end about 6-8 foot and about 3 feet near middle of lake.

Fished at Rock Creek with youngest son CJ (4 year old).  Beautiful day!  We started about 8:30 AM and fished until 3:00 PM.  CJ and I reeled in 40 fish each most of them Red Ear and Bluegill along with Perch and Crappie.  I got a few Largemouth with one over 16 inches long and nice girth.  The Spawn is ON!  Wow!  The crappie were lined up like ducks in a row.  We used 1/32 oz. jig heads with Yellow and Black curly tails.  Also used Bass Flies on a drop shot rig with much success for the largemouth.  The water was as clear as it has been all year.  We got to see a very large bass chase small bluegill in the shallows.  That was interesting.  Also had a duck like bird diving for fish just below the kayaks and many submerged turtles.  There was a slight breeze from the south and temps climbed to near 80.  Very comfortable day but got a little sunburned.

Went to Rock Creek with CJ again.  Beautiful day!  Northwind about 10-15 mph and 75 degrees.  Water not as clear today.  We caught 75 fish in about 2 hours.  CJ reeled in 21 of them.  He just loves to fish.  It is fun to watch.  We caught Crappie, Perch, Bluegill, Red Ear, Largemouth, and Hybrid Bluegill.  Some of the Red Ear were very big!   We used small jigs and Bass Flies with a drop shot rig.  The vegetation is really growing and getting near surface.  Lots of algae growing.
There are numerous spawning beds.

Took client to Rock Creek.  Excellent weather.  80+ degrees and sunshine.  Little or no breeze at times.  Water very clear.  We fished a lot of the spawning beds around the lake.  We caught 153 total fish.  Mostly Crappie, Perch, Red Ear, and Bluegill.  Several Bass taken in the 12 to 16 inch range.  We used 1/32 oz. jig heads with curly twister tail and some topwater lures like Skitter Pop and Rapala's.  Topwater action was excellent for bass.  Caught one Perch over 11 inches.

Traveled to Rock Creek with CJ in late afternoon.  Wind from North about 10-15 mph.  Temp around 90 degrees.  We caught 62 fish.  Lots of Crappie in submerged trees.  Also, many bluegill.  Caught at least a dozen Largemouth in 12-16 inch range with topwater popper lure.  That was fun!!  Wind died down at sunset and water was like glass.  Vegetation is getting pretty thick in places.

Took a friend to Rock Creek today.  We caught 175 fish today.   A lot of Red Ear, Bluegill, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Rock Bass, and 1 Nice Channel Cat.  Two of the Red Ear were 8.5 inches long.  The Cat was about 2 pounds and brought in on 4 lb. test with a 1/32 oz jig.  Very windy from south and hot but well worth the fishing.  We used jigs with twister tails.
