Fished at Rock Creek.  Some ice but able to navigate more than half of the lake from kayak. Caught 38 fish mostly Perch and Trout and a couple Crappie using a Panther Martin and Crappie Jig.  One Perch was 10 inches.
Weather was spectacular!

Fished from kayak at Rock Creek in afternoon.  Caught several Crappie, Rainbow Trout, and Perch using a Panther Martin Inline spinner and a small jig with twister tail on the end.  The crappie are still in the 6-8 inch range.  Trout 10-12 inches.  Upper end is stained from Geese and Ducks on upper stream.  Awesome weather!
We have had very unusual high temperatures here in Southwest Nebraska.  Temp about 55 degrees today.

I kayaked the Republican River twice this month and it was quite an experience.  Saw tons of wildlife including good numbers of whitetail deer.  The water is running great!  We offer trips down the river when running smoothly at just $20 per session.  Guaranteed good time!

Fished Rock Creek today in late afternoon until Sundown.  Only fished for one hour but caught 2 Crappie, 5 Perch, and a nice sized trout.  South wind diminished to nothing by sundown.  About 51 degrees.  Used a Lytle's Secret Lure (tailspinner) to catch the fish.  One perch and crappie were very nice size.

Kayaked the Republican again today.  Beautiful day!  Saw many deer and a goose laying on her eggs near shore.  Got real close but did not disturb her.  Very good running water.
